674d275f59 mesa: for every state change, remember states we changed for glPopAttrib
The idea is to restore only those states in glPopAttrib that have been
changed. This will reduce glPopAttrib overhead a lot.

This is based on the state tables in the OpenGL 4.6 Compatibility Profile
specification and many extension specifications.

This code might superfluously flag GL_TEXTURE_BIT for texture and
sampler functions that don't have effect on states popped by glPopAttrib,
but I don't wanna test my luck and make a mistake. Thus,
if _NEW_TEXTURE_OBJECT if flagged, GL_TEXTURE_BIT is usually flagged too.

This has no effect on glPopAttrib yet. glPopAttrib will use this in a later
commit. This only adds attrib masks into FLUSH_VERTICES based on specs.

ebb228bec5 vbo/dlist: only use merged primitives when it's ok to do so
Merging primitives generates incorrect gl_PrimitiveID[In] values.
So make merged primitives construction non-destructive and fallback
to drawing with original primitives if a program reads gl_PrimitiveId.

This commit adds _mesa_update_primitive_id_is_unused modeled after
_mesa_update_allow_draw_out_of_order to update ctx->_PrimitiveIDIsUnused
each time shaders are updated.

57f4c66028 mesa/main: one_time_init() -> _mesa_initialize()
This exposes the logic inside one_time_init() as _mesa_initialize(), so
drivers who needs to use functionality initialized in one_time_init
earlier if they need.

This means we can reliably use the GLSL type-system when compiling
driver built-in shaders.

ac9d30431e mesa/main: do not init remap-table per api

9bc98778a4 mesa/main: do not pass context to one-time extension init
_mesa_problem doesn't use the ctx argument for anything, so there's no
reason to pass it. This saves us from needing a context passed down this
code-path in the first place.

8e3696137f remove final imports.h and imports.c bits
This moves the fi_types to a new mesa_private.h and removes the
imports.c file. The vast majority of this patch is just removing
pound includes of imports.h and fixing up the recursive includes.

2af431cf7f gallium: Plumb through a way to disable GLSL const lowering
For radeonsi, we will prefer the NIR pass as it'll generate better code
(some index calculation and a single load vs. a load, then index
calculation, then another load) and oftentimes NIR optimization can kick
in and make all the access indices constant.

5a747306ce dri: Add config attributes for color channel shift
The existing mask attributes can only support up to 32 bpp. Introduce
per-channel SHIFT attributes that indicate how many bits, from lsb towards
msb, the bit field is offset. A shift of -1 will indicate that there is no
bit field set for the channel.

As old loaders will still be looking for masks, we set the masks to 0 for
any formats wider than 32 bpp.

e4da8b9c33 mesa/compiler: rework tear down of builtin/types
The issue we're running into when running CTS is that glsl types are
deleted while builtins depending on them are not.

This happens because on one hand we have glsl types ref counted, but
builtins are not. Instead builtins are destroyed when unloading libGL
or explicitly calling glReleaseShaderCompiler().

This change removes almost entirely any dealing with glsl types
ref/unref by letting the builtins deal with it instead. In turn we
introduce a builtin ref count mechanism. Each GL context takes a
reference on the builtins when compiling a shader for the first time.
It releases the reference when the context is destroyed. It can also
explicitly release those when glReleaseShaderCompiler() is called.

Finally we also take a reference on the glsl types when loading libGL
to avoid recreating glsl types too often.

ce93bf1876 compiler: Save a single copy of the softfp64 shader in the context.
We were recompiling the softfp64 library of functions from GLSL to NIR
every time we compiled a shader that used fp64.  Worse, we were ralloc
stealing it to the GL context.  This meant that we'd accumulate lots of
copies for the lifetime of the context, which was a big space leak.

Instead, we can simply stash a single copy in the GL context, and use
it for subsequent compiles.  Having a single copy should be fine from
a memory context point of view: nir_inline_function_impl already clones
the necessary nir_function_impl's as it inlines.

KHR-GL45.enhanced_layouts.ssb_member_align_non_power_of_2 was previously
OOM'ing a system with 16GB of RAM when using softfp64.  Now it finishes
much more quickly and uses only ~200MB of RAM.

0349bc3ce2 mesa: Set minimum possible GLSL version
Set the absolute minimum possible GLSL version.  API_OPENGL_CORE can
mean an OpenGL 3.0 forward-compatible context, so that implies a minimum
possible version of 1.30.  Otherwise, the minimum possible version 1.20.
Since Mesa unconditionally advertises GL_ARB_shading_language_100 and
GL_ARB_shader_objects, every driver has GLSL 1.20... even if they don't
advertise any extensions to enable any shader stages (e.g.,
GL_ARB_vertex_shader).

Converts about 2,500 piglit tests from crash to skip on NV18.

b5697c311b Change a few frequented uses of DEBUG to !NDEBUG
debugoptimized builds don't define NDEBUG, but they also don't define
DEBUG. We want to enable cheap debug code for these builds.
I only chose those occurences that I care about.

f33cb272f0 mesa: Replace MaxTextureLevels with MaxTextureSize.
In most places (glGetInteger, max_legal_texture_dimensions), we wanted the
number of pixels, not the number of levels.  Number of levels is easily
recovered with util_next_power_of_two() and ffs().  More importantly, for
V3D we want to be able to expose a non-power-of-two maximum texture size
to cover 2x4k displays on HW that can't quite do 8192 wide.

a6b7068ff5 st/mesa/radeonsi: fix race between destruction of types and shader compilation
Commit 624789e370 moved the destruction of types out of atexit() and
made use of a ref count instead. This is useful for avoiding a crash
where drivers such as radeonsi are still compiling in a thread when the app
exits and has not called MakeCurrent to change from the current context.

While the above scenario is technically an app bug we shouldn't crash.
However that change caused another race condition between the shader
compilation tread in radeonsi and context teardown functions.

This patch makes two changes to fix this new problem:

First we explicitly call _mesa_destroy_shader_compiler_types() when destroying
the st context rather than calling it indirectly via _mesa_free_context_data().
We do this as we must call it after st_destroy_context_priv() so that we don't
destory the glsl types before the compilation threads finish.

Next wait for the shader threads to finish in si_destroy_context() this
also means we need to call context destroy before destroying the queues
in si_destroy_screen().

Both Vulkan and OpenGL might be using glsl_types simultaneously or we
can also have multiple concurrent Vulkan instances using glsl_types.
Patch adds a one time init to track number of users and will release
types only when last user calls _glsl_type_singleton_decref().

This change fixes glsl_type memory leaks we have with anv driver.

b0b3de2be7 mesa: release references to image textures when a context is destroyed
When a texture is still bound as an image and the context it was bound in
is destroyed but not the texture, then the texture will still hold the
resource and will not be freed when it is finally destroyed. Hence, release
these references when the context is destroyed.

fa9df82f67 mesa: fold _glapi_check_multithread() back into _mesa_make_current
With commit c6c0f94714, back in 2006 Brian removed the
_glapi_check_multithread() call from core mesa - _mesa_make_current.

It was done to remove fairly awkward #ifdef guard which caused subtle
differences in core mesa.

Since that guard is long gone, we can drop the duplication and
reintroduce the call in core.

Note that the function is was missing when using EGL + classic dri HW
drivers. Yet on TLS builds it's a no-op, so we're safe.

Any non TLS users - more or less anything !Linux (or even musl on Linux
up-to semi-recently) may have experienced problems.

be3ee9d141 mesa: dont call _mesa_override_glsl_version() in _mesa_init_constants()
All drivers that support GLSL will later set their default GLSL versions
overriding this override call. They currently all call
 _mesa_override_glsl_version() again later in order to support overrides.

Although the specs are written against compatibility GL 4.3 and allows core
profile and GLES2+, it is exposed for GL 1.0+ and GLES1 and GLES2+.

08c7474189 mesa: Introduce a yet unused _DrawVAO.
During the patch series this VAO gets populated with either the currently
bound VAO or an internal VAO that will be used for immediate mode and
dlist rendering.

v2: More comments about the _DrawVAO, filter and enabled mask.
    Rename _DrawVAOEnabled to _DrawVAOEnabledAttribs.

92d76a1691 mesa: Provide an alternative to get_vp_mode()
To get equivalent information than get_vp_mode(), track the vertex
processing mode in a per context variable at
gl_vertex_program_state::_VPMode.
This aims to replace get_vp_mode() as seen in the vbo module.
But instead of the get_vp_mode() implementation which only gives correct
answers past calling _mesa_update_state() this context variable is
immediately tracked when the vertex processing state is modified. The
correctness of this value is asserted on state validation.

With this in place we should be able to untangle the dependency with
varying_vp_inputs and state invalidation.
